What firearms do you have to protect your "castle"?

My nightstand gun is my 3" Taurus Judge( I call her "Judy"), I load it with 2 Win. PDX1 .410, 2 Federal Handgun .410 plated 000, and 1 hand-loaded 250Gr, XTP, .45Colt. I've also got two speed-loaders with 10 .45Colt rds. ready to go.

I've also got my Beretta PX4 Storm .40 near by, loaded with 180gr Rem. Golden Sabers.

Can't forget the "Boom Stick", I have an H&R Pardner Pump 12Ga, loaded with Remington 3" Mag, plated 00.

I sincerely hope I never have to use them, but it's good to know they're there. In the words of the great Thomas Jefferson: ”One loves to possess arms, though they hope never to have occasion for them.”

Sounds like you have as many as I do. I like my Remington 870 Talo tactical loaded with Winchester Supreme (Slug and 3 00 buck), of course my most trustworthy 1911 loaded with Federal hydrashocks, and even have the Berretta CX4 storm for the wifey to distract them, among a few others, but cannot divulge all of my secret toys.. LOL

Got any pics of those shootin' irons? I love to take a peep at that 870.

My night stand gun is (now don't laugh) a HiPoint 40 stuffed with JHP's and in the den where I spend most of my awake time I have my Tauras 85. In between those two rooms is my gun closet which has a couple shotguns and rifles (unloaded, but with open boxes of ammo on the shelf above).

On the HiPoint, it has proven to be very reliable goes bang every time and hits what I aim at. Now it is heavy which is why it's a night stand gun.

I've got no problem with Hi Point, PCH. I own one of their 9mm carbines myself. Guess you could say it's one of my HD guns too, even though it's on the gun rack, it's loaded and ready to go.

Thanks, yes I love it. It is a really good shooter with a smooth action for a tactical shotgun. It is my "punisher". LOL

I've been looking for an 18.5" barrel for my H&R Pardner Pump, right now it has the 28" and really isn't great for a home defense situation. It's kinda hard to maneuver in the house with that long barrel. Problem is, H&R doesn't sell barrels for it. I have found a way to fit 870 barrels on it safely, but most 870 barrels cost as much or more than the gun it's self. I may just end up buying the Pardner Protector for $197, but I would really just like to have a shorter barrel I can slap on my existing shotgun.

Thanks Sasquatch, I have been trying out those Winchester Supreme Elite Home Defense ammo and those things are a killer........on both ends. They are loaded with 1 slug surrounded by 3 "00" buck. Man, they will reak havoc, LOL.
