Steel casing ammo is really hard on the bolt face of the ARs as well. It will pit the face much quicker than if you use good quality brass casings.
Mine has 1:9 rifling and I use the 55gr. We use that alot in the military as well. I have shot numerous deer with mine and they drop in their tracks.

The 22As definatley like a copper plated bullet best.....or at least mine did. Although most 22LR ammo is dirty I have had good luck with the CCI and believe it or not the "Aquila" ammo was not too...

Sams Club has nice Electronic SentrySafes on sale. These are a smaller 2 shelf safe, fireproof to 1400. Nice safe for handguns and whatnots. I think they are 299.
