The Cougar is a good, solid pistol. They used to be made by Beretta but they discontinued production and switched it over to Stoeger. They're made in Turkey using Beretta tooling. Stoeger is actually owned by Benelli, which is owned by Beretta. I own a Beretta PX4 Storm and the Cougar has the same rotating, locking barrel design. The PX4 Storm is actually based on the Cougar design. I recommend using a little grease between the barrel and rotating block, I use Tetra grease, it'll reduce wear and make the action much smoother. I think you'll notice how much the design reduces felt recoil ,increases accuracy, and allows for quicker follow-up shots. You're going to love that Cougar. Post a pic of it if you can and let us know how she shoots.
