Picked it up today.

Stag Arms- Stag 15 Model 4

Ain't she a beauty? Came with a standard 20rd mag and a really nice hard case, plus a free mouse pad. It has an excellent finish on it, nice and solid, mil-spec construction, A3 Forged upper, removable carry handle, 20" 1:9 chrome lined/chrome-moly heavy barrel. Shake it and the only thing that rattles is the front sling swivel. I didn't have any problems at all field stripping, cleaning and lubing it.

The upper and lower assemblies fit perfectly together, no play at all. Love the Stag Arms logo.

Took it out to my range.

Placed my target and loaded up 10 rds.

I was shooting from sandbags at 75yds, iron sights. The target is a 2 1/2 inch circle. You can see the lower hits on the target and how I tracked my fire upward, I'm not used to an AR sighting system at all. I'm also not very familiar with AR style rifles, having only fired a few before. So with all things considered I think I did darn good. Well I had my father's help too, he carried one of these in 'Nam and showed me how to get a good "cheek weld" and sight picture. When Stag Arms say "factory zeroed", they mean it. I laser bore sighted it after I shot it, sights were dead on.

I can't really make a judgment call on Stag Arms AR's after only firing one for the first time, but if it performs like this every time, I'd say you couldn't go wrong with purchasing one. I'm more than happy with mine. Also a shout out to Bud's Gunshop, I got this rifle below retail, free shipping, and it only took a day and a half to get to my FFL dealer. Now I need to do some accessory shopping, mainly QR scope mounts, a scope, Hogue rear grip, bottom handguard rail, and forward grip. Once I get it all put together I'll write up a more detailed review and range report here.
