There are countless uses for this great scarf and it is singly one of the most important pieces of clothing you can have in your hiking, camping, or survival gear. These scarves are made from high quality, soft woven, cotton. They have been used for centuries in the Middle East primarily to protect the head, face, and neck against the sun, wind, and sand.

This is by no means a complete list but here's a few things these can be used for:

    • Protection from the sun and elements
    • Keeping cool in hot climates or warm in cold climates
    • These can be used as slings, tourniquets, bandage material, and more and are excellent for first aid
    • Water collection
    • Filtration. You can use a Shemagh to help you breathe in a sand storm or to filter large particulates from water prior to boiling
    • Primitive pillow
    • Simple bag or pack
    • Towel for drying off
    • Bandana
    • Use as clothing if you lose or tear something, they're exceptional for use as a foot wrap if you lose a sock
    • Improvised potholder
    • Tear into strips of cloth for cordage
    • Shelter building.

As you can see, there are a ton of uses for these versatile cloths and I could go on for quite a while. If you have any ideas for other uses please let us know.
