Mine has 1:9 rifling and I use the 55gr. We use that alot in the military as well. I have shot numerous deer with mine and they drop in their tracks.

Thanks Les. Mine also has the 1:9. I loaded up some Hornady 55gr FMJBT near to M193 specs, they're now my favorite load.
